News From The Pews-

Welcome to our newsletter, and with December already here and gone, we want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a truly blessed New Year. Tis the season not only to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, but to also prepare as we bring in the new year. As we continue our faith journey together this year, it will no doubt bring forth many opportunities to follow His guidance and rely on His blessings. This year let us gather in unity to worship our Lord and Savior. God has truly blessed our church and has gathered His people together for such a time as this. There is much to do this year and the possibilities are endless as we follow God’s leading. The next major holiday (Valentine’s Day) is all about love. Who better to celebrate this holiday of love, then those who have received the Love of God Almighty? As we move into the new year let us start it out by sharing the good news of God’s Love with all the world. WOW! Our God is truly amazing, and how exciting it is to be loved by Him! Amen and Hallelujah!

We are also very excited about the many opportunities we have to grow together this coming year. We have new Bible studies that will be starting up in February this year. We will be exploring spiritual gifts and how we can use them in our daily lives. There is also going to be more details on “D&D sessions”. Doughnuts and Discussion is an opportunity to gather on Saturday mornings to discuss the latest issues of the day. It will be an opportunity to further our understanding of the many issues that the world is grabbling with today. Along with the Bible studies and D&D, we are also beginning to look at opportunities to bring our church family together and have a time of fellowship and fun. That’s right, it is souper Sunday time again at Bethel. We will not only be sharing a good bowl of soup, but also some good company with those who are able to attend. More details to come, so keep your eye on the calendar and the bulletin.

Some have even heard that the pastor has plans of having a wintertime cookout. What? Yes, indeed, burgers, dogs, and perhaps even a few games of cornhole or bullseye bucket will be played as we fellowship together. It is bound to be a good time, so keep your ears and eyes open. Stay alert because there is sure to be more –
